  Expensive, but the best place to experience and purchase mid-century modern furnishings on the east coast (and probably elsewhere). Service is excellent with low pressure sales staff. The chain is actually owned by Herman Miller, so you know you are getting the real thing and that the store has to meet certain standards. I was quite pleased with my visits there and I’m actually glad that I plunked down nearly $5K in a chair. They made me feel like I got my money’s worth despite the cost.

  I have been using furniture from DWR for over a decade now but I haven't met a nicer sales person than Ms. Cara Jacques at the Paramus branch. I recently experienced some problems with the delivery and assembly but Ms. Jacques even drove to my residence to fix the problem. I highly recommend her and will be going back again for my next furniture!
